Often seen by the other Clans as hopeful but inexperienced, well-meaning but confused, welcoming but reckless, lenient and creative. Appearance-wise, while no stereotypes are set in stone, they're most commonly thought of as short-furred tabbies, either warm colors or black-and-white.
To its own, DawnClan represents second chances and acceptance where it hasn't been found before. Virtually any cat can find redemption amongst DawnClan's ranks, seeing as all the initial defectors know well what it's like to be treated unjustly. Tensions are always high between DawnClan and StormClan, often due to the latter's aggressions. MistClan has been polite, and BriarClan is viewed as a potential ally.
Where tradition in StormClan is honored deeply, DawnClan doesn't care for it nearly as much. They prefer experimentation and creativity rather than adhering to strict rules on honor.

Dawnstar, formerly Nightheart, used to be an average warrior of StormClan. When Duskstar's ruling became unfair, they only saw it fit to show their displeasure. Followed by close friends and clanmates alike, they pioneered the creation of DawnClan to right the wrongs of StormClan and offer a sanctuary to those who need. Whether it'll pan out, however, remains to be seen.
VERVAINFANG (she/her)

A bright and peppy cat with deeply vain ambitions. Former queen bee of StormClan's younger generation, Vervainfang makes her presence known with no shortage of snide comments directed at those she doesn't like. Imagine Regina George with a sleek coat of fur, and you've got the new StarClan-backed deputy of DawnClan.
TITMOUSECLICK (she/her)

For Titmouseclick, DawnClan's second chance feels like a gift from the stars. After a rocky time in StormClan, Titmouseclick followed Dawnstar into the meadows and assumed the role of healer, though her nervousness remains.
TURTLENOSE (they/she/any)

Turtlenose is a ray of sunshine to DawnClan, enthusiastic for their role as much as they are for making friends. The kit of StormClan's leader at the time of the schism, Turtlenose has proven to be nothing like her father in her endless commitment to DawnClan... and nothing like Dawnstar in her insistence that Gorsenose, the previous deputy, must still be alive.
DANDELIONPAW (she/her)
RANK: HEALER APPRENTICE | Played by Ella
Dandelionpaw is part of the second round of DawnClan apprentices, and she's the first healer to be born in the fledgling Clan. All she wants to do is help people, especially after being present for the Clan's first death. What could go wrong?
